Okay, I know what some of you may be thinking, this isn't Violet's first Easter. She was alive last year. Last year's Easter was Violet's FIRST Easter... Well, technically yes, you are correct but because Violet was just a few weeks old and I was a new mom, we did not participate in any Easter festivities.
This year, however, was a different story. Not only was I up for Easter, I was down-right excited for Easter because Violet was walking. These first set of pictures came from our neighborhood's Easter Egg hunt.
We had gotten the time wrong and came a few minutes too late for the Easter Egg hunt. Fortunately our neighbors took pity on us and threw some eggs on the ground (seasoned parents, our neighbors knew that Violet wasn't going to search through the bushes for eggs). Violet only grabbed for the eggs that were already in our basket and could have cared less for the other eggs.
This is the container of eggs that gets recollected each year so our neighborhood tradition can continue.
You can see that Violet doesn't quite understand why Joe and I would put her in the collection of eggs.
