According to my veterinarian's chart on detecting animal obesity, Benson falls into the "ideal" category size. "Ideal," mind you, is smack-dab in between the category sizes of "emaciated/thin" and "fat/grossly obese." The chart even had illustrations.

Okay, so my old roommate is always calling my dog fat, like every time she sees him. He is also at an ideal weight, but eh, his butt is bigger than it was when he was a teenage dog. (I'm a friend of Lindsay's by the way, but she is not the old roommate in question here)
