Just another day in the sun...

She wore an...

itsy, bitsy, teeny-weeny...

non-polka dot bikini that she got from her cousins Kate and Maddie. Thanks for growing out of your clothes!

Violet's New Hat

I've told you once, I've told you twice. She's crazy.

She insists on carrying all 3.

With the addition of Violet (the blabla doll, not our child), Violet (our child) will insist that I pick her up from her crib with all 3 dolls... not just Frogina.

It's definitely more than a handful for me to carry her with all 3, and as you can tell, it's more than a handful for her as well :).

Violet's Free Time

Violet's favorite past time is flipping through books. Since she doesn't have a sofa or couch sized for her to laze on, she sits in her basket that is lined with fluffy stuffed animals and an occasional plastic toy.

Last Day Hanging Out with GGM and Grandpa Russo

GGM thinks that Violet is a spitting image of her when she was a baby. Can you see the resemblance?

The trick to getting three Russos in a picture is having the youngest one sit in the wheelchair of the oldest one.

Sorry if I squished you Grandma.

It's the annual money giveaway.

After an action-packed weekend in Atlanta, Violet was pooped on the way home.

(She LOVES to sleep with her hands behind her head. I think it's adorable. I just want to tickle her underarms. I resist of course... but I still want to.)

We heart blabla even more now.

I didn't think that it was possible, but we love blabla even more than we did before.

Check out our rockstar daughter.

We stopped by Lenox Mall after the aquarium. We decided to gander into Brookstone. We plopped Violet on a massage chair and she turned it on with the remote.

She likey massage chairs.

Hanging with GGM

It's hard trying to get three generations of Russos in one picture.

If you recall, this Violet pose is a repeat.

Even though it's not the best pose, it's one of my favorites. It's like she's trying to show her amazing abilities to be boneless.

Georgia Aquarium

I talk about the GA Aquarium all the time when I'm at work so I thought that it would be appropriate that I visit the world's largest aquarium. I LOVED it! It was a nice family trip with Yay, Grandpa Russo, Joe, Violet, and I. We had a great time. Here is an awesome looking jelly fish.

My very FIRST whale shark sighting! Even though they were only juveniles, they were HUGE!

Southern Australian Seadragons... It was only AFTER I snapped a few pictures of the seadragons that someone points the "no flash photography" signs. Sorry sensitive animals! I didn't mean any harm.

We made it just in time for whale shark feeding time! It was pretty anti-climatic. Because they're essentially filter feeders, they just swam around, opened their mouths and gulped teeny tiny krill.

Over at GGM's

Thanks to the kind lady at blabla, in addition to Violet's new Violet doll, we also received the mini-version of Barnabe. Barnabe is Frogina's teeny tiny boyfriend. He guided us over to GGM's.

Fortunately, when we arrived over at GGM's, Grandpa Russo was there! He was ready to show Violet how to work the organ.

Violet is posing in one of GGM's favorite chairs. You can see her new doll--Violet, and old doll--Frogina.

Ohh! Dinner time!! GGM was so excited that we were in town, we sat with her to have a formal dinner.

Dinner time!

Violet Makes It to blabla.

As soon as we checked into our hotel at Atlanta for our annual trip to GGM (Great Grandma Russo) and Grandpa Russo, we had to make a stop at Violet's favorite-never-gone-to-before place, blabla. After discovering that blabla's only store was located in Virginia Highlands, we rushed over because it was only open for a few more hours the entire weekend.

Violet's eyes nearly popped out of her head when she realized the variety of dolls. Her first reaction was to grab a doll that looked like Frogina. It was all hugs for the boy version, Barnabe.

She literally ran around the entire store and hugged as many dolls as she could, some two or three at a time! It was a race to keep up!

Violet fell in LOVE with their GIANT dolls too. Yai ended up buying Violet the regular, purple version of this doll named Violet.

"Oh my goodness, so many dolls that need my love!"
